Recipe For Orange & Ginger Ahi

Ingredients:

  • 4, 6oz Ahi steaks
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh orange zest
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro.

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients, accept the tuna in a small bowl and mix well.
  2. Place the tuna in baking dish and cover with the marinade.
  3. Place in the fridge and marinade for 30 mins.
  4. Pre-heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high.
  5. Remove the tuna from the marinade, and grill for about 3 mins on each side.
