North Sea Fish & Farms to Continue the Billingsgate Seafood legacy at Crossroads Market
Calgary, Alta (July 2024) - After serving the greater Calgary community for over 50 years, North Sea Fish & Farms is thrilled to announce its takeover of the beloved Billingsgate Seafood space at Crossroads Market (1235 26 Ave SE) this summer. The transition follows the passing of Bryan Fallwell, owner of Billingsgate, who was a pillar of Calgary’s seafood community. Founded in 1907, four generations of Billingsgate family have provided fresh, high quality seafood, establishing itself as Calgary’s first fishmongering family. In paying homage to Bryan and the legacy of Billingsgate, North Sea will continue to serve a renowned selection of fresh fish, shellfish, lobster, scallops, shrimp and more, along with introducing a classic East Coast lobster roll and weekly seafood chowder. The community is invited to come down every weekend to North Sea Fish & Farms at Crossroads Market from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
